Our Mission
We advocate for the preservation of single-sex prisons for women to absolutely ensure their safety, dignity, and privacy. Our goal is to uphold the fundamental, sex-based rights of women, protecting them from policies that compromise their security and well-being within correctional facilities. We demand nothing less than genuine justice for incarcerated women.
Why Single-Sex Prisons Matter and Must Stand for Reality
Single-sex prisons are not merely “preferred”; they are essential for protecting women from demonstrable harm and maintaining their fundamental privacy. Housing male inmates in women’s facilities, regardless of self-identification, grotesquely increases the risks of physical and sexual violence and inflicts profound psychological discomfort. We support policies that prioritise sex to safeguard women’s well-being. Our advocacy is grounded in the urgent need to align law and policy with the immutable reality of sex-based rights, which are currently being flagrantly disregarded in every Australian state without clear policies mandating sex segregation. This is about survival for those women.

Email Template for Senators and MPs
Use the following template to contact senators and MPs about the urgent need for clear policies supporting single-sex prisons for women:
Subject: Urgent: Protect Women's Safety in Prisons - Mandate Single-Sex Facilities
Dear [Senator/MP Name],
I am writing to express my grave concern about the current policies in Australian prisons that compromise the safety, dignity, and privacy of incarcerated women. The practice of housing males, who deceptively claim to be women, in female correctional facilities is a reckless betrayal of vulnerable women’s fundamental sex-based rights.
As you know, sex is an immutable reality, and male bodies, regardless of "identity claims", possess inherent physical advantages and patterns of criminality that pose an undeniable threat to female inmates. This is about safeguarding.
I urge you to champion clear, enforceable legislation that unequivocally mandates single-sex prisons based on biological reality. This is a critical necessity to prevent further assaults, trauma, and the erosion of justice for women already brutalised by male violence.
I look forward to your urgent action on this matter, and your commitment to protecting women in our correctional system.
Sincerely,
